I have finally taken the time to start my blog. This will be my little space to share all things weddings, honeymoons, beauty & lifestyle. If you are reading this and don’t know me, Im a self employed bridal hairdresser travelling around the UK creating beautiful hair at the most beautiful wedding venues.
To say i’m wedding obsessed would be an understatement, I absolutely LOVE being involved in such a happy and important day and its just an added bonus that I earn my living from it! Most of my brides book their wedding hair a year or two in advance so by creating a blog I feel that I can keep them up to date on what i’m up to and also hopefully inspire them with some of my own ideas and thoughts.
Another idea which I thought could be quite useful for you all is to start blogging and V logging my working day. This would start with first impressions of the venue, staff and bridal getting ready room, maybe include some small clips of the getting ready process hair and makeup and then when i’ve finished I could explore the venue in more detail and maybe speak to the wedding planners with any questions you lovelies would like me to ask? Please please please let me know what you think? I also thought it would be nice for the bride who’s wedding morning it is to have something documented of the getting ready process. If you are a bride to be reading this and interested in booking your bridal hair with me then please feel free to email me on enquiries@VictoriaeHutchinson.co.uk with any questions you may have or if you’d like to secure your date!
Other than weddings I am also obsessed with;
Heated rollers – Seriously don’t know how id survive without these beauties. I live for that big bouncy blowdry.
Candles – If I see a candle for sale I literally cant not buy it! I especially love a good brand dupe, has anyone else discovered the Jo Malone inspired candles from Aldi for just £4.. YES £4!!!!
Notebooks – Every time I go to TK maxx I come out with a new cute little notebook or diary. I currently have about 6 on the go at the minute, oops.
Speciality teas – Im a little bit of a geek when it comes to cups of ‘tea’. Love a good silver tip oolong in a china cup.
Rap and Classical Music – This one is definitely dependant on my mood, completely contrasting genres of music – My boyfriend thinks i’m weird..
Work work work – I am an absolute workaholic and my new years resolution is to have more fun and make time for the beautiful people I have in my life.
5 year plan – I always find setting goals helps me to stay driven when I lack motivation. Im going to save my 5 year plan for another blog post.
I think thats enough about me for now! Thank you so so much for reading and I will be hopefully blogging at least 3 times a week so dont forget to show me some love and subscribe for updates.
